Q: Is the school recognized and inspected?
A:
Yes, we are recognized by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority as a registered provider of quality education and we are inspected every year.

Q: How can I receive more information about IVY College of New Zealand ?
A: Please send us an e-mail with your name and address and we will mail you our brochure, or write to Ivy College of New Zealand, PO Box 105148, Auckland Central, New Zealand.

Q: When should I send my application form?
A: Please send us your application form as soon as possible. The deadline depends on whether you need an Entry Visa or Student Authorization. It usually takes 8 to 12 weeks to receive a Student Authorization in most countries.

Q: If I don't get my visa, will I get a refund?
A:
Fees will be refunded promptly by Ivy College of New Zealand in the case of cancellation, or due to a failure to obtain a visa or permit, as outlined in Ivy's refund policy on the enrolment page provided you send us a copy of your visa refusal letter obtained from the Immigration Office, Embassy or Consulate two weeks before starting the course.
A student must submit a refund request in writing. Refund forms are available from reception.

Q: Can I extend my course after I start studying at IVY College?
A:
Yes, you can extend your course after you start studying at IVY College without paying an extra registration fee. We must receive written notice of your request for extension at least 3 weeks before your last day of school.

Q: When will I receive my homestay family information?
A:
You will receive your homestay family information after we have received your full payment, photos, travel and medical insurance, and arrival details.

Q: Should I contact my homestay family before I arrive in Auckland?
A:
If you have enough time, it would be nice if you could send your homestay family a letter to introduce yourself. Please include a photo of yourself.

Q: How do I travel from my homestay family to the school?
A:
Students generally take the public bus to school every day.

Q: What should I do if I want to change my homestay family?
A:
Please tell us if you have a problem with your homestay family and we will change it as soon as possible.

Q: Which exams do your students take?
A:
Many of our students sit the IELTS examination. We can also arrange sittings of Cambridge First Certificate and Advanced Examinations.
