Hi Everyone,
Ivy College is a
wonderful place to learn. We want
you to enjoy your study and enjoy your future. We accomplish this in three
ways.
1. YOU LEARN
We focus on you being able to learn. Teachers are
carefully selected. The courses are continuously being reviewed with the
intent of you being able to develop all the necessary skills to do well now
and in the future.
2. YOU ENJOY
Secondly, it is more
difficult for you to learn if you don’t enjoy your time here. Ivy regularly
holds activities that encourage you the students to get together and make
friends with students from other classes.
3. YOU are IMPORTANT
Finally, we take care of you as an individual. You
attend FREE language clinics after class everyday from
Mon-Thurs when you have questions. You can consult with our trained teacher
one to one to overcome any challenges with their learning. You can arrange
a time with myself or the student counselors to
discuss other concerns.
Come and learn with us. Enjoy
your study and enjoy your
future!!

New Zealand Diploma of Business
Enrolling now for Semester Three, 2007
The New Zealand Diploma in Business (NZDipBus)
is a nationally recognised qualification that allows students to gain a
broad range of general business skills and knowledge followed by an
opportunity to focus on career related options such as accountancy, banking,
management, marketing and tourism. An NZDipBus is awarded when 12 papers
have been passed including six compulsory core papers at 100 level. The
other six papers may be chosen from papers at 100 or 200 level. Four papers
must be at 200 level.
The New Zealand Diploma in Business is
an excellent pathway into New Zealand and Australian Universities. Many
universities will cross-credit papers down in the NZDip Bus to degree papers
on a case by case basis. Contact our staff to learn more about which
Universities you can gain credits to.
Our diploma is being taught by
experienced, friendly and helpful instructors. Your individual needs are
considered when planning additional tutorials to ensure that you have the

23 hours/week (full-time) or 15 hours/week (part-time)
The courses are designed to
suit students from beginner to advanced level. After 12 weeks of study and
satisfactory attendance, students can move up to the next level. They are
practical courses that teach students only useful and essential language
and skills that they really need to know. During the courses, students will
improve their speaking, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing,
grammar, and vocabulary level. These skills are learned in an integrated
way, not separately. There are no long boring grammar lessons! There is
plenty of speaking time in each lesson. Students learn the language in
realistic everyday situations using excellent modern textbooks and fun and
